Yes, totally agree with that, and was involved in the thread deciding it. But, I don't think this is the concern that's actually being raised here - * the Voting Candidate name shouldn't "leak". No-one outside of Apache should need to know anything about it, such as having to know that the source tag 9.0-vc3 was the source for NB9. Obviously this is now fixed - thanks Laszlo! Not sure where else that term might be leaking? I don't think we have anything on the website except the tag now from a quick search? * this particular thread isn't about a Voting Candidate, because we're not actually voting on this artefact - we should probably have a different way of marking up builds for testing / NetCAT prior to builds for release voting? Using release candidate for that purpose might make more sense?
