I'd like to see if people are interested in adding a new tab to the
homepage:
>Developers<
it could point directly to the main developer wiki page plus also
have links for *bug reporting and bug reports.*
The pro argument includes:
* makes it easier for developers. Right now the "contributing" tab is
ambiguous, as it must be--it's comprehensive. Further, Mozilla has
"developers" and in the interest of a common language, it would help.
The con argument includes:
* makes it confusing, as "contributing" already exists, even though
we'd remove "programming" if we have 'developers'.
The basic assumption is that all or virtually all users hitting the
homepage are endusers and not developers.
