What I would do in this case, is code a form into the manage template,
so that when they login, they are presented with a button, and that
button is setup to submit a form with hidden fields to make the
necessary dns change.  The user only has to login and click once.

What you could also do in this click is submit that subuser creation,
so that next time you can get someone to script this for you and you
just run the script and all your customers' domains are updated.
