Is there a reliable way to tell when a domain is still in the 45 day window?
For example: 1) domain expired Jan 1 2002 2) renewal paid to registrar (e.g. NetSol) on Jan 10 2002 3) domain was reactivated by NetSol and whois shows paid thru Jan 1 2003 At this point (and apparently through Feb 15 2002 = 45 day window) if we transfer to OpenSRS, we lose credit for the year's renewal we were forced to pay at the losing registrar (e.g. NetSol). I assume if we delay the transfer until March 1, we get to keep the full year thru 2003. Haven't tried it though. Can OpenSRS incorporate into transfer requests a check for the 45-day-window or at least a warning that one might lose credit? It really irks people who are unknowing victims. Melissa
