User-centered design is a 1980s concept that has long outlived its usefulness, except in the deepest, darkest corners of IT (where the COBOL still lives and breathes). Here, in 2008, the only people who seem to want to talk about it are those people who've decided they want to take the same can of beans, replace the label, and then declare it to be somehow better. So far, they have yet to explain why the new label improves the old can. Yet, we love them anyways. Jared Jared M.
