Hi Erik, yep completely agree! I actually thought that was implicit in what I was saying... By compromise I don't mean some blah design nobody likes that's easiest to get sign-off. I meant in terms of the considerations the designer be aware of and adjusting for if needed. It's all a deliberative process driven by striving for the ideal :-) And allowing those moments of serendipitous discovery, for novel, delightful solutions...yet holding true to your principles as a designer. Which is the challenge!
