any answers yet, but I think we've made some progress.

Sharing research in progress is like eating raw cake ingredients. It has all the pieces, but not in the form that works.

We've started sharing some of it in our presentations (such as in my IA Summit keynote here: http://is.gd/3ynf).

Needless to say, once it's in a form we feel comfortable pushing out, we won't be keeping it a secret!
