Yeah, me too.  My experience hasn't been as magical as Matt's, but it has
been worthwhile.  I also have a tall drafting chair that I can sit at my
tall desk in, if I'm really tired.  And a cushion pad to stand on.

In my group of 12 programmers/sysadmins at Google, 3 of us have standing
desks, and 1 more is on request (waiting for Facilities to come around and
change the legs on his existing desk).
