By contrast, as someone constantly busy with work, getting dragged into help with just one more thing, I found that joining a gym and paying a trainer has been very worthwhile. Once I have an appointment I work hard to keep it; when people try to drag me in, I give warning of when I have to leave. It's worked. Trainers aren't cheap, but I looked at how much money I spent on tech, reasoned that I only have one body and should consider spending even a fraction of that much money on body maintenance instead of geekery. Different people, different things work. Just offering a contrasting point of view. (I tend to not actively enjoy the gym, especially not the next day). _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
