Thank you all. I found those settings. I just wonder if you can recommend an alternative software to edit gain tags to flac files. Foobar2000 for some reason results in an overall fixed but attenuated gain to all files. I'm kind of confused on how the gain tags are set. i have flac files ripped from "hotter" cd's with very high volume near 0 db reference level. I would like all of my tracks to be that loud. Foobar2000 gain tag editing results in a much lower volume as if it represents average volume of all files instead of adding gain to all low volumed files so they match the volume of the "hotter" files. I'm not really sure about the difference between album gain or track gain. All I want to achieve is a constant and highest gain possible without clipping to all of the files regardless of the artists nor albums they are from. can this be done by Foobar2000? or do i need an alternative software? i hope i got myself clear
