Thanks for digging around for us. We've been in touch with the Notifi
developer and he's releasing version 2.0 in about a week which he says
will incorporate these features. Hopefully he will get it right.
Otherwise, we will follow up and ask him to make some adjustments.

Just a reminder that December is lurking and that the mail
notifications are as terrible as ever. If you're using the Notifi
Add-On for Vanilla it's simple to at least change the subject to
something useful, to put the comment into pre-tags so line-breaks
are visible and to add a plain-text part. Just start at line 319 of
Notifi/default.php. And while you're at it you could also change
those plain SQL-statements to prepared ones, I smell possible SQL-
injections.
