Thanks for digging around for us. We've been in touch with the Notifi
developer and he's releasing version 2.0 in about a week which he
says will incorporate these features. Hopefully he will get it right.
Otherwise, we will follow up and ask him to make some adjustments.
Such small changes are things I usually do on my own, see whether they
work well and then send a patch upstreams. Often speeds things quite a
bit up. :)
