Thanks Ben, yes I have the DV board, but was also looking to see if there
was a software solution to being able to listen / transmit on DS via a PC as
yet with out a dongle it is only a matter of time till it is done....  And I
had posted this to the wrong group to start with. There are way too many
jerk offs that need to think they know all there is to know in this group.

Note that the original poster has a 2820! If he has the DV board for the
2820 he already has an AMBE chip. What he's looking for in this case is
what has been called a "DSTAR Hotspot" or simplex DSTAR internet
gateway. This does not exist...yet, but it is being worked on. It will
most likely require a GMSK modem board though. More information might be
gained in the gmsk_dv_node Yahoo group.
