Did you load the drivers? Have you tried formatting it as a DOS drive?
Have you tried formatter One Pro?

Well, it's a lost cause. The Toshiba drive simply will not appear. I've
tried all the suggestions offered here. I just don't understand because this
isn't brain surgery. This is the first Mac problem I've been unable to
resolve either by myself or with the help of a list or forum. Oh well.
I would like to thank everyone who provided input on my problem. This list
is great!
