Ilene...please don't leave. A misunderstanding is a misunderstanding. Call
it an education, whatever. We all have had our problem machines (mine is a
Gateway Solo) and have burned major time over them. I hope I speak for all
on the list in saying that I hope the problems can be resolved (esp. the
"other bad news"), and then let bygones be bygones.
Besides, you remember the old saying, I'm sure. Applies more to PCs than
Macs, but it says:
To err is human.....to REALLY foul things up takes a computer!
