You have two separate and distinct issues here:

1. The technical quality of the service (e.g., outages)
2. The quality of the technical service (e.g., misinformation, deliberate or 
inadvertent)

They do sound alike so I will cut you some slack.

Evaluate both; do so both in an absolute ('dead minimum requirements') and 
relative ('what else is available?') manner.

Then do as someone else suggested earlier: "vote with your wallet."

What you need not - and should not - do is engage in public name calling. 
This reflects negatively on the professionalism of all who participate here.
