Mary Lou - Thanks for the heads up about Font Manager Updater, which I downloaded and applied last night. It didn't take long to download, or to apply it. The three apps which the Font First Aid program fixed were (surprise, surprise!) Emailer, Quicken, and First Class Client (wife's school email account).
While I had finally gotten Emailer running properly *before* applying the Font fix, I'll keep the list posted about whether the problems return. Thanks again, Mary Lou, for the assistance.
