I don't think so. Norton gave me a clean bill of health this morning, an 
Disk Warrior ran successfully this morning as well. No other apps that I 
use are affected.

Norton found no fault with either the Emailer database or index files.

After I sent the message this morning, I had a bad freeze involving 
Emailer, which necessitated another typical rebuild. I can provide 
details if anyone is interested. Everything is fine (for now, anyway, 
knock on wood).
