Well, I tried to rebuild the Mail DB, first holding down OPTION on
launch, and then when that didn't work holding down CONTROL-OPTION. No
dice. The same error message keeps coming up:

"Claris Emailer could not open the required
file "Mail Database" because
the file was created by a more recent (and
incompatible) version of
Claris Emailer. Press OK to quit."

Tried moving it to another folder, another drive, etc. and moving back,
etc.

Thanks for the good suggestions. Any others? If not, I guess it's a
goner. I was able to open it in MS-Word and save as a text file (a two
hour operation).

Thanks,
Mark
