I'm not saying it was the Mac's fault, but just that they did not 
properly use it so that he could again use it on the PC. He let the 
camera format itself and all was fixed.

I am not sure what it did since he could not tell me what OS was being 
used on the "brand new laptop". Maybe by default it erased the photos and 
that is what happened?

Really but what about if a Mac user used it and erased it that way?
I can't really say what  happened as it was in Berlin, but we did fix it.

I could not get people to use INFRARED ever. I thought that could have 
been pretty cool, especially in an environment where people move around 
to different rooms in the same building..
