This is actually the first time it's ever happened around here. Now, if I could just figure out how to get the Claris import command to work in Outlook Express.
Ahh... I spoke too soon.
Here's the new twist on this tale.
I was able to restore the database on an older machine running 8.6. But the advanced rebuild on the iMac running 9.1 gets really, really close to the end of the rebuild, and then the sound of writing data ends and it just hangs there. Forever.
This means that I was actually close to solving this problem whole shebang the other day on that computer, but it wasn't till I put the whole process through a test on the copy of the files on an older computer and it worked, did I see the discrepency with the other computer.
Any ideas here?
