Ok, valid reason for using it.

However, I would still turn off the feature entirely and see if you can 
get new email. I'm still going to take the guess right now that somewhere 
Emailer got out of sync with the mail server, and Emailer thinks the new 
emails have already been collected. You should be able to verify this if 
you telnet to the mail server and check the message counts as Emailer 
sees them (or use a stream watcher to see what Emailer sees as Emailer 
does its check). If the message counts go up as new email arrives in the 
mail box, but Emailer still makes no attempt to collect the messages, 
then Emailer believes no mail is waiting to be collected, which is most 
likely due to the Leave Messages On Server setting.

You may have to click the Get All Messages button in order to actually 
reset Emailer's tracking system. I know it will screw up your method of 
collecting the mail from multiple locations, but it may be a neccessary 
evil in order to get Emailer working again.
