Merely the old problem of people not being able to distinguish beforehand the often obvious difference between "change" and "progress." The latter is wonderful but should never be confused as a synonym of the former. Regarding your problem and not wanting to mess up your system of monitoring your email on SBC, would it be possible to set up a new (and temporary) email account with a different email address to use to test the CE connection.? A completely new and separate account at SBC would allow you to isolate the potential issues starting with a clean slate, so to speak, with both CE and with the SBC servers/accounts/system.
