I misspoke here.

NFPA 70 (US NEC) §110-14 states, "terminals for more than
one conductor and terminals used to connect aluminum shall
be so identified," making it clear that more than one
conductor is OK.  However, this is intended to apply to
compressions lugs, terminal blocks and the like, and no
mention of studs is made.

Glen Garside also directed our attention to NFPA79,
§14.1.1.3, which contains effectively the same text.
