I have personally been involved in an instance of a CE mark being called out by customs authorities for being too small. The device had a surface area of 15cm^2 The mark was about 3mm, and the action was resolved with an agreement to correct the label on future shipments. Customs officials are watching for it. A device isn't compliant without a proper CE mark. The shape and size are regulatory requirements. The case where you could make an effective argument to delete it would be the rare exception in my opinion.. With best regards, Clif Brick

Such as some electronic products, toy product and on my desk a stationary highlighter, all which have CE mark of about 3mm height. Isn’t this deem not meeting to CE mark logo specs/requirement? Is there any cases of penalty that anyone can provide so that I could use it to show to our management guys. Thanks.
