    Yes distro maintainers can... But arbitrary users/designers? Could 
such a user
generated profile config include things like passwords, odd key bindings,
fixed paths, ....?
    Do you have a Bodhi repo of such cool user generated 'profiles' that 
people
upload so others can download them and thus have similar cool guis?

    I'm not arguing against the need for nice E themes, just that if you
want to really grow your user base, and create some attention to E's
capabilities (and your Distro), then 'shell-theming' is a far more 
productive
way than just more E themes.
