That's what I did, I just wonder what the other option is good for, and why it is calle "Kmenuedit". The name suggests that one could use the KDE menu editor to edit the E17 menu, but this doesn't seem to work.... > > 3. I mean, that you have to move the mouse to the sub-window and click on the "Close" button. In other DEs a second click on the button that opened the sub- window closes it. No need to move the mouse across half the screen, first, there. E. g., you open the settings editor. Then you click on "Appearance" and then "Composite". The dialog for composite opens. In order to close it, you have to move the mouse to the dialog and click on "Close". In other DEs you could alternatively click a second time on "Composite" in the main menu. What is more, clicking multiple times on an option in the main menu in E17 doesn't open and close the respective dialag, but in some places opens multiple instances of the dialog, which is less than useful for a settings dialog, most of the time, I think.... > > > 4. Understood and accepted. Maybe it could be made configurable in some future release, because unsurprisingly different users obviously have different preferences ... ;) Alex ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer -- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE!
