Hello All,

I am now trying to uplink two network closets together using GBICs but the
ports aren't lighting up. Are there any special commands to configure on the
GBIC ports to get them to uplink?

I had same problem, was Cisco trained. I took some of Enterasys's
bootcamps. They are very helpful. GTAC is helpful too.

I am having trouble getting them configured at all. The commands are
very different than on Cisco switches.

I know I have to create all of the vlans on the Enterasys switches
because they don't recognize VTP but I am not having any luck.

What is the problem you are having? We have Enterasys to Cisco back to
Enterasys and vice versa... Sending trunked vlans both directions.

Thanks,
Reese

Hello All,

Until now, we have been a Cisco network. We recently purchased
Enterasys switches and I am having trouble getting them connected to our
Cisco network. Does anyone have any experience adding Enterasys
switches to a Cisco network?
