I would also be glad to take a 20% size hit for a much faster search.
Entourage message text searching seems glacially slow, much slower even than
OE 5 was. It's not something I do every day, but when I do use it, I need
it. This is one feature that Netscape was EVEN WORSE at, which caused my
initial switch to Outlook Express back in version 4.0.
Also, any comments on why we can't email merge with more than a dozen or so
arbitrarily selected fields from the Address Book? It seems like they've
crippled the usefulness of it by not allowing fields such as URL or Custom
1-8 to be email merged (but hoo boy, I can send everybody their specific
"Suffix" and "Job_Title"). There should be no technical reason I can think
of for not allowing it, since the fields are already there. And the use of
Categories for selecting which entries to email to should be a no-brainer.
