And I've just checked again about 10 hours later without having restarted
the computer in between but having quit Entourage for most of those 10
hours. The previous caching is still working - an Advanced Find on a
recipient's name finds all the group messages including that recipient,
whereas a search on "other" produces nothing.
So the speed improvement that comes with caching will also persist. If you
never Shut Down or Restart your computer except for installing new software
or after crashes (as I do, I leave it on overnight), then you'll get the
speed and search advantages of caching continuously.
