Hmm., I don't think that I've ever heard that. The Address Book has an API
but there is no good mechanism in place to extend their elementary schema in
some compatible way. I guess all the address book authors could get together
and reinvent the wheel. It is going to be very difficult to do this though.

It is in the hands of at least two third parties right now (it became
available the same day as the Palm Conduit). If someone has a need to get to
our data, we'd love them to get to it.

Feature copying is nothing new. Very, very similar UI is tough to accept. As
to drawers, they aren't available to Carbon apps last I heard. Don't
understand why not. All in all though, it is just a hidden interface. I
don't like the usability of drawers but that's just me. They are great to
demo though.
