Now I have tried to move the entire MUD folder over to the new account via the new account's drop box. I can get it over there, and into the documents folder to replace the original MUD folder, but Entourage says it cannot read this database due to unknown error. When I try to rebuild the database, it says it cant do it.

So I am stuck.

What to do now?

Can I export all the mail folders and re-import them in the other account?

Jock,

The guts of the Entourage data is in the MUD folder. Actually it is the only thing you should need to copy over to the new account. Copy the following
folder to your new account.
   "home/documents/microsoft user data"

I concur but you don't even need the whole MUD (Microsoft User Data) folder. I have many times copied just my identity folder (by defualt, that's Main Identity) inside MUD/Office 2004 Identities between my desktop and laptop
(to the laptop before leaving on a trip; back to the desktop upon my
return). Never moved anything else. Works flawlessly.
