Larry, this did not work. When I replaced the existing Main Identity with the one from the other account, and then tried to open Entourage, I got message saying that Entourage could not access the database, please rebuild the desktop.

I then got a screen on which that was one of four options, but when I clicked it, I got an error message.

So I still havent been successful in transferring the Entourage mail from one account to another one.

What can i try now?

Jock,

The guts of the Entourage data is in the MUD folder. Actually it is the only thing you should need to copy over to the new account. Copy the following
folder to your new account.
   "home/documents/microsoft user data"

I concur but you don't even need the whole MUD (Microsoft User Data) folder. I have many times copied just my identity folder (by defualt, that's Main Identity) inside MUD/Office 2004 Identities between my desktop and laptop
(to the laptop before leaving on a trip; back to the desktop upon my
return). Never moved anything else. Works flawlessly.
