This message got me to wondering again - if I have a newer body camera,
say an Elan II or Eos 3, can I use an EX speedlight in TTL mode, or am I
stuck using E-TTL? I don't like the idea of a pre-flash, and I'm happy with
the TTL my old 10 gives me, but was thinking about a new body soon. I don't
want to be stuck with E-TTL for all shooting conditions. I know my 380EX
doesn't have an E-TTL on/off switch, so I'm assuming depending on the body
is what you get, E-TTl, or TTL.
While I'm at it, I'm thinking about buying a used EOS 1 or 1N, with the
1 I know I'll get TTL, does the 1N have E-TTL, or plain old TTL?
