As long as you don't mind the sheer bulk of the lense, and attention that
it draws, I'd say you can't go wrong... I have the f4 and if weight is a
factor it is a great choice with performance similar to that of the 2.8
(except for the 2.8 part) - The bottom line for me, was that realistically
the f4 would make it many more places with me than the 2.8, but the 2.8
sure would be nice when I slap that 2x on...
