Does it count if I rented one and regretted returning it? :-)
It is very heavy, and I considered replacing my 200/2.8L with it, but
in the end elected not to add it to my kit because it doesn't suit my
style all that well.
But the optical performance was outstanding, and I'd be willing to
bet that the vast majority of pros who use it for photojournalism,
etc use it wide open at f2.8 all the time.
