Hi Robert,

LOL. I agree that the head-shaking bit is a bit hard
without a tripod, but then, the lens I was using has
an Image Stabilizer.

The other good bit about Reticle focussing is that it
does not require any battery power.  And it can be used
when "focus assist" is not working (e.g. like when using
a telescope or when using any one of those Nikon lenses
on an EOS camera via an adapter :-)
