Hi Jakob,

I bought a 620 back in '87 and was very happy with it (until it was
stolen) and now have a 630.  My sons both have 620s and are pleased
with its perfomance.  I can't compare it to the Rebel as I've never
used one, but I guess that it isn't quite as fast to autofocus as
the newer models.

Unless you're very picky about your camera, I think that you'll be
pleased with a 620.
