What are the advantages/disadavantages of using the Canon 500D close-up
lense vs extension tubes on the 28-135mm IS? Which one would you choose and
why?
If I you had to choose one extension tube, which one and why?
I plan to use the 28-135mm IS for travel photography as well as a Canon
17-35mm lense. The subject matter is variable - close-ups of dishes at
restaurants, details of interesting objects, etc.
I could not find enough information in the archives to make a decision.
