Actually with film, it is not that bad, but somehow with digital it is...
Add to that the lack of clear cut documentation from Canon.

Thank you. Then it would seem that it is not E-TTL but the D30 electronics
that appears to be the problem.
Does the same thing occur on the D60 when used with the 550EX?
