If a full frame sensor becomes available with the same "pixel" spacing
on the sensor - but a lot more of them - guess what?
You still have the same "cropping factor effect" if you choose to -
you just ain't forced to.

The phrase "spin" is usually associated with politics:  take a flaw in
a "product" and turn it in to an attribute.

If there were no manufacturing difficulties / price penalties involved
in full frame sensors would Canon have opted to market the D60 or D30?
Its a no brainer:  the answer is no.


Focal length multiplication (aka cropping) is almost as old as
photography!
