Hi John, > I guess I must be one of the "weird one percent". My > personal passion is photographing Swiss trains and > visiting the main depots of some of the regional > private lines such as the BLS and the RhB. I think that the "weird 1%" would put the total EOS mailinglist members at 200 (or more)... So yes, I'm with you in the "weird 1%" ;-) I spent 2 weeks in Filisur last June. During one rainy day in Disentis, my old Minolta seased to show any lifesigns due to humidity... Missing the opportunity of a picture of the monastary with a Ge 6/6 I in front was of course devistating! That was it, a new camera was needed, enter the EOS 30 (Elan 7e) with EF 28-135 IS. Yes I was planning to buy a Canon for a long time anyway, but this was it, no more delays!
Anyway, I'm afraid I cannot help a lot with your question about "Wide Angle Digital". But if you would like to chat some more about the Rhb, BLS etc, feel free to contact me off the mailing list... Cheers, Stefan P.S. These pictures are for John only =P (if you read the text above more closely, you'll know they were NOT taken with Canon equipment... YET ;-) www.gerris.net/temp BTW, The interior shot was taken at 28mm f/8 60 ISO200 on-camera flash (sorry about that) * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
