Thanks Mike. Did you find the grid screen to be dimmer or similar in
brightness to EOS-3 standard one ?

I don't pay much attention to the brightness of screens these days (I
have a matte/grid screen in my eos 3, and it works great, but I never
use it since getting a couple D60 bodies).  However, one caution...if
you need to do any manual focusing, whether because of personal
preference or just a situation where AF doesn't work, keep in mind that
the brighter the screen, generally the less "pop" there is when
something comes into focus.  The older technology screens tend to be
better for manual focusing.  I really liked the grid screen in the eos 3
for this fact when I replaced the standard screen with it.
