Odd as it may be for some, but the cropping factor is why I have not bought, nor plan anytime soon to buy a DSLR. I will probably buy the first 6 MP or better full frame under $2k. Or not if they don't come out. System will be irrelevant.
A low end EOS 3 equiv, that gets maybe 4 fps, with full frame 6.3 would be awesome. One can only dream. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jim Davis Nature Photography Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 8:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: EOS - sensor size on future dSLR's david <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote/replied to: >BTW - My humble opinion is that the 10D replacement will likely be an >8MP, 1.3 crop factor (reuse/update the 1Dmk II sensor) and a bit more >picture buffer but not as good as the mk II. I don't think so. The 10d replacement might have more pixels but likely other improvements like ECF and Spot metering. I like the 1.6 and will buy my next camera with it. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
