Subject: RE: EOS - sensor size on future dSLR's
[SNIP] Someone 10-12 years old now who
buys a camera in three to five years may not have any
idea what "full frame" means when everything is
digital just as a vinyl 33rpm LP is a museum piece to
younger kids. They put 35mm lens equivalent focal
lengths on the front of digital cameras for old fogies
in my age bracket but 5-10 years from now it won't
mean anything.

Actually, most in Suburbia will know and want vinyl. It has been the core
of the punk industry, and most punk (and punk pop) is still released on it.
Hell, some "university" stations will only play it if it is on vinyl.

----------------------------------------------------
You also stated you were willing to switch systems
(brands) in order to acquire your nirvana of a
"full-frame" digital camera for a particular price
point level. This usually means you buy lenses to
match the brand of the body.

John, I think you are mixing two people up. I said I would switch (anything
but Nikon). I stated a price point ($2k for body) that is full frame. And
with this new Kodak, I might not need to.

Close, but he is "Bob Meyer" and my name is Robert Meyers, close, but not
the same:)
