Oh, I think you'll see it eventually.  I don't know
when, but the price of all the electronics that go
into a camera (sensors, memory in particular) continue
to drop.  Almost weekly, it seems.  I'd be within a
couple of years a camera with the basic feature set of
the 10D, but with a full frame sensor, will be
available for about the same price as a 10D today.

Two years ago, who would have believed a 6MP SLR for
under $1000 US? But we've got two of them available now.
