Btw Contax lenses: not sure if anyone ever attempted to manufacturer a commercial adapter, but at least the smaller/shorter/lighter lenses can be modified to EOS-mount rather easily (semi-permanently, using (silicone-rubber) glue). (the difference in register between the systems is a positive 1.5mm, 45.50 vs 44.00) These where the first Sigma 8mm/f4.0's I once converted, long before Sigma launched an AF-version....;)) http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/fish_8mm.htm (Pentax & Olympus mounts are in the same league btw) And a Contax-AX would be cool too of course, for those who like to collect over-engineered gear....:)) PS: don't forget that a large amount of Contax users will originate from the old days, where 'Zeiss' was still the only thing worthwile, apart from Leica....it's probably just as much a generation-shift than a technology-shift. (how does their full-sensor digicam do btw?....Pentax lost that battle without even releasing one, but I never saw comparison tests between the Contax and EOS/Kodak either) -- Bye, Willem-Jan Markerink The desire to understand is sometimes far less intelligent than the inability to understand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!] * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
