I would like to think it's both. After all, if we're here it's because we all share something in common: EOS gear. If we look at the history of this list, gear based discussions show up frequently. I'm glad they do. For example, they prevented me from buying a 2X converter for my 100-400, has I initially planned. I got the 1.4X and after having tried a 2.0X borrowed from a friend, I now know I made the right decision. Thanks to this forum's participants opinion. As far as the EOS 3D rumours are concerned, I made the comment in a sort of ironical way. Nevertheless, moving to digital is an expensive step, especially if you find out that you have to buy new lenses to suit your photographic needs.
