Not dreaming, just not yet. Heck the 1D doesn't even have a full size sensor
yet.
For those wanting the Digital 3D, I say you'll have it in 12 months. You can
already buy near mint used 1D mk IIs for well under $3500 (there's one for
$3300 on Fred Miranda tonight. In a year, those same cameras will likely be
about $2500. So you'll have your 8mb, 1.3x crop, weatherproofed camera. It
will just be preowned. Problem is, next year you'll be wanting the 11mp 3D,
when just like last year a 6mp would have been fine :)
