Wow, you'll be blown away by the differences. Biggest difference is in the mid
tones. LCDs have lots of midtones.

Colors are great on LCDs too.

I have an NEC Multisynch LCD I'm really happy with and it pivots to portrait
orientation which I love for some things.

Take a look at some in the stores and pick one you like! Look for features like
easy adjusting up and down and tilting.
